FURUNO ITALIA presents the new 27 ”wide color monitor model MU-270W, a Wheelmark approved display for ECDIS FURUNO FMD-3200 Black Box and for Chart Radar FURUNO FMD-3xx0 and FCR-2xx9 series.

The MU-270W monitor supports different resolutions up to 1920 × 1200 (WUXGA). Compatibility with 1920 × 1200 (WUXGA) resolution offers a considerable display area, about 20% more than the MU-231 monitor, resulting in more space for ECDIS FMD-3200BB cartography. For the Chart Radar FAR-3xx0 this feature allows you to include the "side conning" window, maintaining a large area for cartography and radar. The MU-270W monitor, with internal scaler, is also compatible for 1920 × 1080 resolution (full HD).

Equipped with high contrast it provides clear and very defined images both for use during the day and for use in night navigation. The MU-270W monitor provides the possibility of a dimmer, like all FURUNO marine monitors, for optimal navigation even at night. It also guarantees viewing up to 85 degrees from the center, allowing images to be viewed from virtually anywhere on the bridge.

The design of these new displays has been designed to be an ideal complement on mega yachts and commercial vessels. Thanks to the black anti-reflective glass front, the overflow operating buttons on the front panel and the possibility of flush mounting at the console, MU270 remains absolutely flat and allows the creation of very elegant and modern planks.

MU270W provides two DVI inputs, an RGB input and a composite video input. Automatic video source selection and external device control modes are also available.
